Effective immediately, we will no longer be accepting paper GPRA’s.
All GPRA’s must be entered onto the Omni secure online database.
In order to submit electronically you need to complete the database training
located on this website. To access
the training, go to the ‘Provider’ tab and select ‘GPRA Training’.
Begin with Module 1, in the left hand column, and move through the modules
appropriately depending on which type of GPRA you will be completing.
The documents in the right hand column accompany the training and can be
printed for reference. Once you complete
the trainings you will be instructed to send an e-mail with your name and organization
in it. Upon receipt of this e-mail
we will send you the database link along with a username and password.
To: All Colorado Access to Recovery Providers and Community Members;
Thank you for your support of the Colorado Access to Recovery (ATR) project. Over the last year, Colorado ATR provided
services to over 1,200 clients who otherwise might not have had access to services. A considerable number of new providers
have joined the project (including many faith-based services) and we have been able
to offer a diverse list of recovery services to support long-term client sobriety. We are pleased with this progress and
appreciate all you have done to help us make the project successful.
Sometimes projects become victims of their own success and that is certainly the
case for Colorado ATR. We have recently
found ourselves to be over committed to higher-cost residential services.
Regrettably, we have to make significant changes in order to meet our contractual
obligation to serve a minimum of 6,000 individuals through the life of the grant.
Therefore,
effective December 28th, 2008, all levels of residential Treatment services will
no longer be funded through
Colorado
ATR. However, all residential
clients with current active vouchers will continue to be served through the end
date of their voucher.
Please remember that Colorado ATR is still able to provide outpatient treatment
services and wrap around support services such as parenting classes, transportation,
child care, recovery support groups, GED preparation and many other services which
are listed on our web site (www.atrcolorado.org). The wrap-around support services
are available to individuals in both out patient and residential treatment, as well
as those in recovery.
Be assured that this decision was not made lightly.
We understand that substance abuse resources are limited in
Colorado
. However, we feel that this change
will allow the project to serve the greatest number of clients and will provide
the highest level of sustainable recovery support. We will continue to monitor trends
in service requests and expenditures in order to provide a balance that best serves
the community.
Again, thank you for your continued support of the Colorado ATR project.
Sincerely,
The Colorado Access To Recovery Management Team
